Yorkshire cyclist (UK) saying hi!

Hello all.

I've just signed up for the forum and I thought I'd say a quick hello before turning in (it's nearly midnight here).

I'm a keen cyclist and walker, but unfortunately also a keen beer drinker! That explains where my 50 pound belly came from... :blush5:

I started a weight loss blog at the start of 2009 to spur me on, and I've been averaging about a pound a week loss since then. I still have about 35 pounds to go so unless I make quicker progress, it is going to take me the rest of the year.

I'm a member of quite a few forums and I promised myself that I'd stop joining them, but I've just stumbled across this one and felt that I had to add this to the list!

Anyway, I'll try and drop by as often as I can to make a contribution. Looks like a nice community you have here.

Good luck with your own fat loss programs!

ColinJ.

PS I'll especially watch out for any threads about cycling.

Yo-Yo Colin :D

Im from UK aswell and Yorkshire ish lol Glad you've joined it really good, i only joined this week too. Started my own diary to spur me on. Alot of people providing support and something to keep motivation up. Im thinking about cycling to work but have got my puncture fixed yet. Do alot of walking with my dog aand visit lots of new places for walking.

Well done losing 15lbs is great. Keep on trucking!!:gnorsi:

woo, another cyclist, i think most cyclists i know all seem to have whats commonly refered to as a 'momentum suit'.

Thanks for the replies.

It's a bit cool, overcast and windy here today, not really my favourite conditions, but not enough to keep me indoors. I reckon it might rain later so I'm going to get out on my bike now. I also want to beat the rush hour traffic.

See ya later! :beerchug:
