I have battled with being heavy since I was a child, and this last June I decided to do something about it. I am 5'6, and my weight at that time was 227...ack..that is my heaviest. I am now down to 186 and my goal is 165. I realized that there is no real "shortcut" to losing weight. I am weight training 3x a week and doing "kick my ass" cardio 3x a week. I take in about 1100 calories a day, and because I have been working out, and creating a consistent calorie deficit, I have succeeded in losing about 40 pounds. I am glad there are sites like this to support those that need to lose weight. I don't think I could've lost the weight without support from my bf, now I would like to return that support for other people wanting to do the same. Have a good day!!!
