WW points plus calc - need some help

Hi all!

My mom just joined WW and she bought me an extra set of books and the points plus calculator so we can do it together. I put all my info in the calculator and it told me that I get 29 daily points and 49 weekly points.

I then entered info that I used 6 points for breakfast, and now it is telling me I have 5 points left for the day. What is going on? I double checked my info in the tool section and it still reads that I get 29 points a day. I have entered the same info again and the calc keeps reading that I only have 5 more points left today. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks all!

It was my understanding that the calculator determined how many points were in a certain food and you just kept track of your daily and weekly totals manually. I could be wrong - it was a couple years ago that I did the program and I know it has changed.

I would take it back to your WW leader - that sounds like an error - maybe stick to writing your points down until then??? My calculator stopped working after a couple of months and they replaced it no problems - HTH!

Yeah 29 is minimum so you must be like 130lbs...lol. Im allowed 58 and I dont even come close to using them all.

Is there a way to convert WW points into calories? I recently got a WW cook book with some really nice recipes, but they all have WW points instead of nutritional information.

Does 1 WW point equal a certain amount of calories, or does it work differently??

WW doesn't translate directly into calories because they take different portions of the NI into consideration (depending on which version of WW is based on - momentum, points plus, ect)
