Wth this is really confusing..

Ok this is what is confusing me. Im trying to gain muscle, but im trying to loose weight. I know if I do weight lift my muscle will start making me way the same even more. But im loosing my actual fat? I know my weight go down on the scale though

Is that true.

yes, it is true...

muscle weighs 2 times as much as fat. At first, while you gain muscle and burn fat, you can actually even GAIN weight and still be losing fat. Eventually the fat loss will outweigh (no pun intended) the muscle gain and you will lose weight.

Its actually very common

Ok I run for like 15 minutes and then I weight lift for 40, so im going to loose my actual fat, my flabby fat. But im gaining musle, so Im not going to loose any actual weight, just gunna loose my fat and gain muscle? make me skinny and have muscle but still weigh the same +

weight is a very bad indication of your fitness level, just ignore it.
Try using your time, distance, reps, weights in the gym to measure your progress. You can also use the mirror but since most people have a completely distorted view of themselves don't obsessively check yourself out in the mirror.

And furthermore, it becomes very difficult once you move past 'beginner' stage of training (2-4 months) to both gain muscle mass while losing fat.
Why?

Because you need to have extra calories to gain lean mass, and a calorie deficit to burn fat.

If you try to do both, you sacrifice speed on both...meaning you may only lose .5lbs of body fat per week, and only gain .1lbs of lean mass. Meanwhile if you were strictly trying to lose fat, you could lose 1.5lbs of fat a week, or you could bulk up more weight in a week.

Thus, weight is somewhat useless unless you know your % bodyfat. If you know both, you can calculate lean body mass, and watching that figure go up or down is a lot more useful than total body weight.
