I love Tae Bo and I also have Yoga and Pilates for Dummies, I do that regularly..I bought a dancing one, that is in 10 minute intravals... The Dummies...has alot of Fitness videos out there...

i've recently discovered that maybe workout videos aren't for me, but when i have no choice, i love dance-type videos. richard simmons & some crunch videos.
i wish you luck in finding something you enjoy!

I have that 10 minute workout video of dance like 2lil is talking about and blastoff dance but I have trouble with the blast off lol I have others but i tell ya tammy the best that I enjoy is leslie salones walking dvds she has a variety and they are not hard but you get your miles in and she has been getting great ratings and publicity over her methods i have her new one with kick boxing added in and i love it I actually havent done it in a while but I realise i need a variety to keep me from getting bored but if I had to be stuck with 1 or dvds here it would be leslie salone and the biggest loser workout cause bob is a pickle to work out with and the others are funny watching them struggle with ya and matt tries to slack some and gets busted lol!

I enjoy Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds Super Fat Burning 3 Mile Walk . . . it incorporates basic march in place power walking with simple moves like kicking and side steps . . . it also has a segment where you pick up light weights and do upper body exercises . . .

Wow you should try Yoga Booty Ballet. Its so much fun and I love doing it every day. The beginning of the dvd includes doing yoga and various stretches, the middle consist of cardio dancing with silly moves, and the end is a section of ballet moves that tones your thighs and butt BIG TIME. Oh and the ab section works better than anything else ive tried. Since doing the vidoes i've gone down 5 1/2 in on my waist alone. Good luck!

Do you have to be on a treadmill to use it? Or is it aerobics on the floor?

I have trouble mentally picturing an aerobics video that showed walking techniques if you are just staying in place....

Thanks!

it's all on the floor and it's really great. you can make it as easy or hard as you want (i.e. - adding hops or skips whatever...). Leslie really is great.

I have one called Quick Fix that has nine different 10 minute sessions, and you can do customize it to pick which ones you wish to do. It's nice because it has a ticker at the bottom that tells you how many minutes are left to go. It's mostly for strength & toning, but it does get you aerobic as well! I like it because 10 minutes is easy to do, and if I feel like it I can do another 10 or not. Each 10 minute session focuses on a different part of the body, legs, butt, abs, arms...

Well I looked on ebay for the walking one (I need some variety in my videos, too) and the shipping costs 6 times as much as the disc itself...... :( Hopefully I can find it at Walmart! :D

i like the crunch fitness cardio salsa and the kathy smith belly dance

I saw those at Kmart for $9.99 the biggest loser and watp express and some
other dancing ones I didn't know what to pick so I didn't get none once again.I had WATP in my hands then I thought to myself I walk on thr dreadmill?I will eventually buy 1 I want something fun and different.I keep hearing about a booty ballet or something among that line?Tammy

Morning,

Well, I just treated myself to Billy Blanks Bootcamp Elite (with the billy bands!) and also WATP.

WATP, alas, bored me senseless (which was quite disappointing as I had read great things about it).

Bootcamp was awesome, however. The bands really do make a difference. I was quite impressed.

yoga booty ballet is the latest infomercial - and i saw the dvd and after watching the infomercial for about 5 minutes, I came to the conclusion I was too uncoordinated for such a thing,..

has nayone tried any of the belly dancing dvds out on the market? I have heard from a co-worker that they are great for working up a sweat and losing weight as well as working muscles you don't normally use. I have seen some of them for really good deals but I am still sceptical.

I have the kathy smith flex appeal belly dance dvd - and it gets bad reviews from belly dance experts because they claim that she doesnt teach you how to belly dance... but you know what? it's a freakin' workout dvd and that's what you get.. a workout plus it's fun... the intro level is still a workout that focuses a lot on the core muscles - and youo can do it in your bare feet...

I enjoy it...
