workout & meal plan

I got some sweet potatoes and they taste good (although they're weird shaped - like carrots, so you couldn't turn them over like you say you do).

Whats so bad about white potatoes in comparison as they have better numbers for the nutrional info. Are sweet potatoes fine to eat regularly in a day or are they seen as pretty bad, like white potatoes?

regular potatoes are fine. some have concern over the GI, but thats really not important. GI is based on foods by themselves and we dont eat just the potatoes in our meals. have those and sweet potatoes as often as you can, i do :)

I don't like regular potatoes, so I have one sweet potato everyday. They have tons of beta-carotene, of course, and plenty of other vits&minerals.

4-5 slices of stone ground is bad? cause dam, ive been eating natty pb on a slice of bread and chicken breast sandwiches alot.

spock, how much walnuts should I be having for my 5th meal (usually with some chicken/turkey/salmon/tuna)?
One ounce is one serving.
I don't like nuts other than walnuts, so I only know the nutrition info for them offhand - 1 ounce = 1/4 cup = 200 calories, 20 grams fat, 3 grams fibre, 3 grams protein.
Just be sure to work it all into your calorie totals since they're very calorie-dense.

yeh was just checking having looked at the packaging and got it at 194 cals, 4.2 protein, 0.9 carbs and 19 fat per ounce
