Hello All, My name is Jessica, I am 32 and have been struggling with my weight(one way or another) my entire life. As a young adult i was too skinny and very unhealthy. After having my first child i gained 107lbs but that only put me at 203lbs and it was easy to get back down to a heathy weight of 165lbs. I maintained that weight until i had my second child gaining another 100lbs putting me at 265lbs, as well i found i was proned to having hernias that i had fixed shortly after her birth. but after having her i only lost 15lbs and 10 of that was her. I met my husband weighing 250lbs, getting pregant and having another hernia during the pregancy was very painful. cause me to be very inactive which i gained more weight. now after 4 yrs i am 277lbs yo-yoing through diet and exersize programs. This year my goal is to get to 200lbs hoping for more energy and a happier self

Good plans, Jess.
I think the best way to prevent any yoyo effect would be to make permanent changes to your lifestyle. That means you can't do anything too drastic, since you won't be stopping doing it in the foreseeable future.

Trust me, your children will adore a mother who has lots of energy.
I believe in you!
