Work Out Songs?

All I listen to lately is the Red Hot Chili Peppers. All of their albums on repeat, I even sleep with it in the back ground xD

No idea why I'm so obsessed lately. But for some reason, it does provide for good running music.

My favorite band to work out to (specially while lifting) is Korn. I love their old stuff. Although I do not really like rap music it does help working out to it.

I loved fast pace music when I workout. I am a big rock & punk fan. Right now my 2 favorite bands are Nickleback and My Chemical Romance. When I hear groups sing and play their pain and suffering away something about it just gets me going and wanting to kick the worlds @ss!:) I also however will listen to all sorts of music...if it's on my mp3 player or on the radio I will listen to it and still kick the world's @ss!!:) :)

My tunes usually include The Hold Steady, The Pixies and some random stuff like Daft Punk or even a few older hip hop gems, like Black Sheep-You Can Do This. I try to get stuff with a good beat. With my new ipod and computer i need to download some new stuff though, so love that there's this thread which hopefully will grow a bit and give good suggestions!

when I'm on the treadmill I tend to listen to a lot of punk, hard rock and techno. Daft Punk, The Donnas, Green Day, Foo Fighters, IME... but I'll throw in some medium tempo stuff in the mix too.

cycling if only in the gym I tend to listen to the same stuff... "real world" cycling I listen for semi trucks and other vehicles that can kill me rather than music.

I'm a total country lover! My top singers are:

1. Tim McGraw
2. Faith Hill
3. Kenny Chesney
4. Taylor Swift
5. Rhodney Adkins

garage band is one of my favorite sites - very few of the artists on there are signed with record labels and probably should be -there are some really good songs outthre depending on your preferences...

Good work-out songs for my iPod??

Hi everyone!!

I hope everyone is having a happy, healthy day! I am about ready to go to the gym but I have a small problem..

I am so tired of all of my "work-out" music on my iPod! I tried to pick really up beat, motivational, fun music but nothing seems just right.

Does anyone have any good ideas on what type of songs I can put onto my iPod? I'm going to work out in 30 minutes so if anyone has any immediate ideas, please let me know!!

Thanks!!

Thank you for linking me to the threads where everyone else is talking about this! I guess I should've checked "Off Topic" first! I sometimes am confused on just how to navigate in here. This is the first forum I've ever been a part of. Thank you for the redirection! :)

Hi,

my best ones are house music:

Bob Sinclaire - Sound of Freedom, World hold on, Rock this party, Love Generation
Yves Larock - Rise Up
Safri Duo - Bongo Song
Michael Gray - the weekend

You can also try remixes of random hits. They are very upbeat as well.

Depending on what exercise you do... PodRunner is a great podcast for runners and cyclists, or anything where you can match your steps to the music's beat (it's trance). You can download music of a specific BPM (beats per minute). I get the 180 BMP tracks because that's how fast my steps are when I run.

Hey I anyone would like songs which are VS another song, example:
Safisfication vs In Da Club, amazing mix

Find songs which Vs, there much more fun.

I just can't believe that no one has brought up

Survivor - Eye of the tiger

OR my favorite: Survivor - Burning Heart ......Talking about heart of warriors, never to give up even though your body says stop..passion etc...the pedigree of working out.
