Hello from Ontario Canada!

I found this site while in a search to find diet ad weightloss supporters. I have been a member to a diet/weightloss support site before but found it was lacking something and I hope that I find it here. I have been an unhappy camper with my weight for quite sometime now. My heaviest weight was 184 and after many trials and errors I finally discovered low carb. With that diet I was able to lose 44 lbs! I maintained that loss for over a year and slowly a lb here and a lb here crept thier way back into my life. I gained back 24 lbs only to lose 10 of those nasty suckers recently and I'm in hopes of losing the remaining 14 and then some. SO! I'm focusing on my long term goal of seeing 130lb! And maintaining it! I can and I WILL DO THIS! With the year passing by so quickly my 35th birthday wll be here before I know it! Oooooh how I want to be at goal by then!

Effective this morning I have re-established my low carb way of eating. I also clocked up over 9,000 steps already for the day. I'm lacking in the water department! Off I go to grab a liter! And relish in the fact that I am now back on track!

Please oh please........ Wish me luck! :p

Nice job eh.

I crushed carbs too and I've had great results like you are as well. Good luck on your way to your goal weight. You made it this far, I'm sure you're a shoe-in for the stretch run.

Welcome Want-to-be!
Good luck with your low carb diet-Uhgg those used to make me so sick. Now I stick to low cal. And I totally understand about keeping the weight off. I was about around your weight and I hope to get down to 130 someday....Good luck with all that you do. You can do it!:) Cabana

Welcome,Welcome!!!!! Congrats on your loss so far. Are you still going to do the low carb diet?? Have a Great Day and don't forget to drink that WATER:D

Welcome Ontario and Good Luck!

I've similar to you in my weight loss goals. I know you can do it!

Thank you so much for your friendly welcomes. We all will reach our goals. Mind over matter right.... remaining focused on our goals at all times...... being positive... I know it's easier said then done most days. But it's worth the try right? I hope to get to know all of you. :)

good luck with the low-carb! Just when we start to look away those darned pounds start creeping back and remind us that it's a lifestyle change not a one time thing.

Day 2.....

Good afternoon everyone. Thank you so much for such a warm welcome and your kind words.

Day 2 is here..... how have I been behaving? 1 word can sum it up....... NOT! Teach me to make elderberry pie! So much for my carb count this morning! It's through the roof I'm sure. Sooooooo, I'm going to work like a crazy woman on my water intake and some form of exercise to try to combat against it! Yesterday was a great low carb day for me and with that AND the quilty feeling from eating that piece of pie makes me more determined that I AM GOING TO PUSH MY WAY THROUGH MY BATTLE AND REACH MY GOAL! UGH!!!!!!
I will return to update my journal later and I WILL be in a more positive frame of mind! I will then begin to make my way around to visit all of your journals as well!

Hey Want to be,

Deepfelt good luck from here, I hope (actually believe) you'll make it, so determinded as you are. Hope you left those negativ vibes behind.
Have a great day 3.

Hey want-to-be!
It's too early for you to be slipping up!:D How bad do you want this!!!! Lets get right back on track! "K":p
Even in the worst of temptations, you need to be strong and resist. (At least for the first three weeks anyway:D ) I always remember someone on here saying, "It takes three weeks to form a habit...) I guess that could mean eating habits? Bad habits? Who knows, but three weeks is a good time frame (at least its not a month! )
Be strong and hang in there! :) Your success will depend on you! Think positive, be mentally ready to lose those pounds!.............Cabana:p

Arlighty, as promised I am back and feling more positive. Hubby just came home from work and surprised me with a bouquet of carnations, and I was interviewed and hired to provide childcare for a 2 year old. YEAH!

It's great to see that with in hours of joining this site already I have support that I was lacking before. It's a pleasure meeting all of you!

Hello! I just have to say that I love carb cutting diets, they work so well for me. I really need to get back on that soon. Everyone has different body chemistry and for those of us who see results and feel great on low carb, we are the lucky ones. Many people can't do it. I find I am the least hungry on low carb, don't you?

Anyhow. You can drop those lost pounds girlfriend! I believe in you. Thanks for the brushing and water tips. Have a good day!

Just stopping by to wish you a wacky Wednesday! :D I know, I know...it's corny but I couldn't think of anything else that started with a "W." LOL

Hello Merian, MJB and OHD!

Merian ~ I can feel the love........ And I love it! :p

MJB ~ I am least hungry on low carb! That is for sure, but if I even "stub my toe" and nibble a taste of a sweet I have to start all over again...... So no toe stubing allowed! I am going to get it done and done right this time. Oh and for the tips ~ You are most welcome, anytime. I hope they help. ;)

OHD ~ Wacky Wednesday sounds just about right! Corny as it may sound to some! I like it! I wish you a wonderful wacky Wednesday too :D

Today is day #3 for climbing back onto the wagon. I woke on the wrong side of the bed this morning and with that I you can imagine the mood that I was in until it finally wore off. This afternoon while the kids were all down for thier nap I really wanted to lay down too BUT!!!!! YUP! THERE IS A BUT!!!!!! BUT ~ I decided to walk instead. I worked up a sweat, and did 3 kms. The dogs joined me and that all was fantastic till Tadpole decided to roll in coon pooo, so now I must incorperate bathing the dogs into this afternoons schedual too. I have to plan supper still as well..... I'm thinking ~ porkloin roast, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, ..... and something else..... I'm still thinking on that! Anyways ... off I go, but I shall return! Thanks for popping in.
