I am 5'2" and weigh 120 lbs. I would like to get down to 110 or 115, but am having a hard time losing 5-10 lbs. I hate cardio, but I'm trying to get back into the pattern of going to the gym cause i have a feelin its the only way i'll lose weight. So during M-F I go to the gym about 4-5 times. I run on the treadmill at about 5 mph for 30-40 min. After that, I usually do some weight lifting. just a few things though because i don't want to bulk up. on the weekends i pretty much don't do anything (because i'm at college and i go home on the weekends where i don't have a gym). i did this for one week and when i was done i had gained weight instead of losing it. i eat small portions during the week (sometimes onthe weekends i binge though). is the possible weight gain because i've been lifting weights (which i didn't do before) and gaining muscle? by doing this workout routine, is it possible for me to lose 5-10 lbs? and what should i increase first when running, speed or time? ok i know thats a lot but any help would be appreciated!! thanks
