Will I lose weight with this routine?

Okay so this is how a week goes for me.

every morning I take Progressive vegegreens with some water, take multimineral pills and have a whey protein shake with fish oil added.
5 mornings a week I go for a 3km jog around the local university.
then during the day between my classes(im in college so i use the time I get) I go to the gym. and here's how that schedule works.
Monday:Chest/Triceps
Tuesday:Back/Biceps
Wednesday:Legs/Shoulders
Thursday:Chest/Triceps
Friday:Back/Biceps
Saturday:Legs/Shoulders(depends if I went out Friday night or not)

Food:
Generally I'll have eggs or a protein shake for breakfast, then apple for snack, then tuna sandwhich for lunch, then another apple plus protein shake(my post workout shake), then dinner varies, but usually either pork, beef, chicken, or salmon with a veggie. then an evening protein shake with no carbs added, so just with juice or water.

I just started doing the running in the morning thing this week so I haven't been able to see if its made a difference, but I use to superset in cardio every other day(usually the row machine)

So will I actually lose my gut with this? my goal in general is to get the "beach body". But I need to lose the gut, and I think I'm doing a fair bit of cardio to burn it off, but then I'm also doing pretty intense weight training(I do pyramid training with each exercise).

Thanks for your help!

Well, it sounds like you should, but the bottom line is you need to burn more calories than you consume to lose weight. Short Fuse asks valid questions, we can't really help without knowing more about you. The answer would be very different if you are a 130 lb female vs a 210 lb male for example.

I'm assuming you just started this routine and diet, otherwise you could tell us if you're losing weight or not. Assuming this, how does it compare to your activity level and diet before? Were you at a stable weight before or adding weight over time?

I am 5'9,185lbs, and 19 y/o.

I've been doing the same routine since January(Only started the vitamins and such and the running last week though) and before that I was just doing cardio 2-3 times a week(only like 20min on an elliptical)

You might want to add some complex carbs (oatmeal or whole wheat toast for example) and fruit to your breakfast. It will help you have more energy throughout the day.

Are u actually monitoring the calories you are eating each day? Are you eating a bulking protein powder with huge calories or a fat loss one? You can go to online calculators to figure out exactly how much carbs, protein and fat you should be eating to maintain muscle, but lose fat. It is important not to guess with the nutrition side of things. Exercise is very important, but I think a lot of fitness experts would agree with me that diet is actually more important. You can lose weight with diet alone, but it is hard to lose weight with exercise alone unless u are also watching what u eat!
Your diet sounds well balanced, I am just worried about the amount of actual calories this is providing compared to how much you are burning.
The other thing I would say straight away is that you need to be doing interval training for your cardio. You can still go for your jogs, but instead of jogging at the same pace the whole way start incorporating varying intensity. For example, sprint all out for say 30 seconds, or however long you can go at first, then jog to recover, speed up a bit, then sprint again etc. Interval training will not only increase your cardiovascular fitness immensely, it will increase your metabolism and speed up fat loss. You will burn a lot more calories doing interval training than maintaining the same intensity the whole jog. You can do interval training with pretty much any cardio equipment.
The more you vary your routine the better. The body is too smart, it adapts too easily. You have to shock it into submission and show it who's boss. Gut you will not stay! You are on your way out! lol:)
