Hi guys,
I would like to do 4 days of weightlifting - Shoulders, Chest, Arms, Back - I will exclude legs. 30 min of Cardio on two of those days.
1 seperate day for Exercise Ball routine
1 day of swimming.

All total I will be working out 6 days.

Will I be overworking myself? I want to weight train for appearance, but I also want to do the other activities for health benefits. Any advance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You should split up your routine a little more. 4 days of the week just for chest and back and whatever will just get your muscles all stressed out and you wont get any gains. Try to give your muscles at least 2 days rest.

it really depends on your body type.. But a lot of people doing that routine would be happy with their results for a short time because they would likely overtrain. Judging by your numbers you seem to be in fairly good shape strength-wise. Have you been doing this before or is it a new training plan?

I have yet to add the exercise ball, or swimming. So basically I've been doing just the 4 days of lifting. I've omitted legs, because I felt like I had to give up something, in order to do the ball and swimming. Would the following be feasible:

Mon: 1hr Swimming
Tue: Triceps + Biceps, ABS, and 30 min exercise ball
Wed: Shoulders, 30 min Cardio
Thurs: REst
Fri: Back + Forearms, ABS, and 30 min Cardio
Sat: Chest, 20 min Cardio
Sun: Rest

i woodn't class it as a program without legs...i avoided legs for yrs for no reason and stayed small because of it...for big arms do squats and deadlifts...for fat loss do squats and dealifts...for muscle do squats and deadlifts...it's a simple as that

I've not been a member for long, but compound lifts are where its at :D lol. Oh and Squats and deadlifts are great, but as far as i know if you do not do them properly you can easily injure yourself.
