i use the wii fit on a daily basis.

sometimes i do a whole 45 min work out doing cardio exercises (step ups, jogging, hula hoop etc)

sometimes yoga / a bit of cardio

sometimes nothing, just checking if i have lost weight.

iv found yoga keeps the LB's off, but cardio seems to have knocked off a few pounds when i check next morning, but im back to the same weight at night again??

strange!!

I tried wii fit for about a week solid. I'd do a 30min workout mainly jogging every night, and had the same problem, but I didn't exactly watch what I ate & would eat before bed occasionally which I realise really didn't help now I know the effects of doing so.

Now, I get minimal exercise, but when I go through phases of eating healthily and not eating before bed, I notice that I can lose 3-4lbs a week! It's just a case of sticking at it now!

i really dont understand how cardio only seems to have literally a daily effect, but yoga and a little cardio seems to do it.

suppose its better to be keeping a tab so that i know now instead of noticing 5 months down the line when im still the same weight!

Can I ask a quick question about the Wii fit Plus? Does it tell you how many calories you've burnt off?

Thanks

It does, by using METs, your weight, and the time (hours) to get an estimate of how many calories you've burnt.

As for the accuracy I'm unsure how accurate it is.

Measure yourself at the same time each day and no other. Also in the same condition. Such as after your morning shower / bathroom usage. or at the end of the day, just before you go to bed, etc. if you weigh yourself dressed, do it dressed each time. Nude, do it nude. clothes add a few pounds, daily meals add a few pounds as well. you weight can fluctuate around 5 pounds during the day.
