I had a friend once who told me that anything worth doing is worth doing well - and that I need to go out and start living the dream. Well that friend has since left my life, it's amazing how you can sabotage the best thing that has happened to yourself with one simple act, and with that, the dream is gone too... and I need all the motivation I can get to get it back. You don't realize how much someone means to you until they are gone... so this is for him (and myself, who am I kidding, I need to get off my ass and get moving)
I am a former heavyweight - 330 pounds, 165 pounds (50% - yay) lost thanks to surgical intervention. I need HELP! I have no motivation, look horrid in a swimsuit - but I am alive(one huge plus in this whole drama - and no medication)! I go to the gym, ride my bike, eat what I can - when I can - which isn't much... but the weight stays at 165-170, and the excess skin doesn't help the weight, or the self esteem. So, that being said - I need help, I need a kick in the butt, I know what I have to do, but how do I get myself motivated to go at it again?
protein drinks, protein powder, water, supplements - they work just great - is there a switch somewhere where I can turn it on and concentrate? So who wants to help get me motivated? Who's going to tell me to move my ass? How do I DO THIS NOW? My goal is 135 pounds - achievable, of course, how can I jump start my metabolism?
No alcohol, no addictions - except to the computer - does that count?
