S'a pleasure to meet you all. :) I'm Adair.

I've had weight issues forever, mostly stemming from the fact that I'm not accountable to anything, I have no weight loss buddy (nobody I know needs one. XD) Trust me, nobody I know has the time or concern to help me with it anyway- so I've basically come to the conclusion that if I can't have a partner in this, the least I could do would be to find a place to talk to people who have the same problems.

I'm like... the world's best candidate for obesity, it's a miracle I'm not. Low metabolism, sleeping issues, easily stressed, a genetic tendency in the way of extra weight, serious craving, oh yeah- I got it all. XD What else to say?

I'm looking forward to exploring this place further!

I understand the whole low metabolism thing. I am a college athlete, and I am still fat! Too loss weight I have to workout before practice.
 
well... now u got lots of weight-loss buddies here :D :):D

read the stickies.. i'm sure you'd find info on how to tackle low metabolism...

from what i know... instead of having a lot of food at once, or starving yourself entirely, which eventually leads to binging, try having food frequently at moderate proportion.. may be every three hours or so.. :).. this should pick ur metabolism up :D

also.. u can try working-out.. that's a great metabolism booster... if u can do moderate/high intensity cardio in the morning, ur metabolism would be high thru out the whole day.. it can be as simple as running/jogging in the morning...

just keep ur head up and slowly but steadily u'll overcome the problems u have.. :):)

Welcome Adair:waving:, we ppl. here seem to be tackling with the same issues as you have said,so you have a whole lot of buddies my friend:grouphug:.Just remember to stay focussed, start with any exercise that you enjoy and increase the duration and intensity slowly and steadily..work on your diet,eat lot of veggies, fruits,eat 4- 5 small meals with a combo of protein and carbohydrates,veggies..Make small changes buddy, and you will enjoy the big difference it makes;)
