Why hello there!

Hi guys! :D I'm Jess but you can call me Apple if you dont remember Jess. I'm 20 years old and i want to lose weight (duh... lol.) my highest weight was 185 and i am down to 173 or so and i've been stuck there for a while now and my goal is to be down to 125 by next year. so i'm hoping to find some ideas, get support, learn new things and support others in their goals.

A little more about my lifestyle... i was skinny when i was about7-10 but then i gained weight and was overweight all through middle and high school. my BIGGEST enemy yet favorite thing is fast food... the one thing that is probably keeping me from losing weight is fast food and sodas. i'm also a BIIIIG procrastinator. i always tell myself, "well you can have a soda today but no more tomorrow cuz your ganna start a diet" but i never do. (any advice on that?)

i really think that this is it. i want to lose the weight and i want to do it now. i appreciate any help you all can give me.

Never put off til tomorrow what you can do right now... forget tomorrows and just do what you can today... and take it one step at a time...
 
i know! i dont know why i do that so bad though. its like i completely forget that i was ganna start a diet. thanks for that advice though. i think i'm ganna write that on my door or something. my new motto. lol.
 
or try and not think of it as a diet -diets tend to be temporary - temporary measures rarely work long term - consider this a lifestyle change and figure out how to make the things that you love work within your lifestyle change...

My Maiden name is Apple too! How neat. Your weight goal is also the same as mine. I joined yesterday and look forward to all the support these boards will provide. Don't worry. One step at a time and we will achieve our goals!
