ok heres my story, at the age of 15 i weighed 220 pounds, i ended up dieting and running heavily and dropped to about 150 in a little less than 6 months, everything was great, ok so i gained the weight back and i am now 19 im up to 270, i've just started my diet and running plan back up and its in its second week, ive seen no results at all nor have i lost a pound, i know its only the second week but heres the thing that gets me, back in May i lost a lot of weight again...i lost 60 pounds by the end of june, yes 60 pounds in 2 months, i know its not healthy but i felt great and looked pretty good, unfortunately the problem is i honestly don't remember exactly what my diet and exercise plan was, i mean i know the obvious things i did, cut calories cut out sugars and run a lot but i don't remember the details....im doing basically the same thing i did but haven't seen any results at all, and its very odd and discouraging cuz i mean i was eating large amounts of fast food everyday and i mean i just felt horrible, theres no doubt that i feel better in the two weeks i have been dieting and exercising but i just don't see annnnything changing...

is it too early for any kind of results considering the amount of weight i dropped in the amount of time it happened back in may??

(btw: i know losing a lot of weight in a short amount of time is bad, you won't keep it off and all that stuff, i know from experience, the thing is im just trying to make weight regulations for the navy b/c i was in the DEP program and ended up like i said gaining weight back before i was able to ship, which resulted in discharge until i could lose the weight again, so once i get down to the allowed weight im goin in again, which im sure would keep me in line as far as keeping the weight off...)

ViperGT_007, You have lost weight. So you know how to lose weight. If you are eating what it takes to lose weight and it has been two weeks & you have not lost weight you need to go to the doctor. Unless your not being honest with yourself.

The way I have been losing weight, probably isn't a good way to do it but I'm not harming myself nor do I have a eating disorder. Basically, I have lost 45 pounds, been that way for a good 5-6 months started being different in september. I have been constantly changing between meal patterns but I eat usually 2 meals a day (I'm not usually hungry for breakfast) eat something healthy for lunch and dinner if possible. As well as excercise at least once a day. It's like rapid weight loss it's kinda weird. I also pick the foods for lunch that have the least fat in them if possible 0% fat. As soon as I hit my physique goal I'm gonna increase my food intake/ physical activity so my metabolism will stay high and my weight will stay the same.

I saw on Oprah once that you shouldn't weigh yourself for the first month or two of weight loss because of changes in your water weight and muscle growth. Keep taking the right steps and results will come.
