I thought I'd pose this question to the group because it's something I often struggle with. I start a program with the greatest of intentions, but often lose steam and before I know it I'm back to square one (or worse).
For me, I think it's about sustaining motivation and holding myself accountable. I found success in the past making a bet with friends (sounds weird, I know) about weight loss - I believe this helps keep me motivated. We all have the excuses (not enough time, money, energy, whatever), but many people with these same constraints can be successful.
I would really appreciate any anecdotes on why you may have failed (or succeeded) achieving your goals in the past. If I can really figure out why so many people fall short, perhaps it'll help me in my own pursuits.
Thank you so much.
