Why am I so tired?

Since I've started working out 5-6 times a week, I have noticed that I am definitely full of energy. I'm up at 5:45 a.m. without an alarm and I just go non-stop all day. But it never fails, at 8:30 every night I am so tired that I pass out on my couch.

At first it didn't bother me because I just figured that it was because I got up early and was on the go every day.

But, even on the weekends...when I go to bed at a reasonable hour and don't get up until 8:00 am, I'm still drop dead tired at 8:30 pm.

I've tried taking a nap in the middle of the day, usually hard to do because I have so much energy, but even that didn't help.

Any suggestions?

what does your food plan look like?
are you keeping track f calories in a program tha also tracks vitamins and other nutrients

What does your workout look like and what time are you working out?

I have been keeping track of my calories and eating healthier - trying to stick between 1600-1800 calories per day. I drink about 10-12 glasses of water/day - but I'm not taking any type of multi-vitamin or even keeping track of what vitamins I'm getting.

I usually workout mid-morning - like between 10am-noon.

I alternate my tapes which are high impact aerobics with weights and they last anywhere from 45-60 minutes.

I used to only do them 3-4 times a week, but since I have upped it to 5-6, sometimes 7, I've noticed the tiredness.
