Which bathroom scales?

Which bathroom scales do you use or recommend?

The reason I ask is I'm not so sure I am pleased with the one we have. June 1st we bought a "Health o Meter" weight tracking scales (model HDM776). At first it seemed ok. But a couple days ago we noticed that there can be a BIG difference within just a couple minutes (wearing same clothes, no eating/drinking between weighing, etc). I know that that there can be a slight difference depending on movement/stance but 10lbs seems a bit much. For now instead of me bending head to look at scale I'll have my husband look so that there is no movement at all, but I really hate
1) Having to wait and/or rely on someone to assist and
2) reminding hubby of the actual weight (LOL although he can see the fat all the time; reminding/seeing the numbers, well, that's different LOL)

Thanks!

Hi!
Are yours digital scales? I've only got a set of cheapy digital scales and they seem to be pretty accurate. Or at least there's no difference in weight within a few minutes. But I did used to have a set of analogue ones and honestly! A slight shift to the left or right and I'd put on/lose 10 or so lbs! I knew it was time to throw them out when I started weighing myself on one leg, leaning wildly to the left :D

Yes they are digital.
Thought I'd be pretty happy with them since besides just weight they also monitor body mass, weight changes and progress for personal goals... for up to 4 different people.

LOL@ knowing it was time to get another scale. I agree, that would be a sign for me to get others as well.

In the past with every scale I've ever had, I'd get different waits within minutes. With the last one I'd always get a higher weight the first time and either the same lower weight the second two times or two different weights...for a total of 3 different weights. This has been as far back as I remember and my mom always told me just weight 3x and take the lowest.

Well I've put on so much weight embarrassingly that my old scale errors out. I was given a new one for Christmas by my grandfather that goes up to 400lbs, it's a Taylor Lithium glass scale. Since using this one it gives me the same weight every time, a first ever. If you google you can find a pic but that brand gets reports of being pretty accurate.

In fact I just googled and they don't seem to be that much more expansive than other brands but I found it interesting when I found an article that they signed some contract with "the biggest loser" for marketing their stuff. Interesting :)

Just bought and received the Eat Smart Precision Plus Digital Bathroom scale from Amazon. It is awesome. It is the highest ranked scale by customers on Amazon, you don't have to tap on it and wait, it is very accurate, and when weighed myself then 10 seconds later held something that weighed 5 lbs in recognized it. Some scales keep the same weight on the display until they reset which can take a while. It also has a 440lb capacity, a very bright LED display and is very wide with 4 sensors on it. And to top it off it is only 34 dollars. Now it doesn't do all the stuff like body fat, water weight, bmi, etc. but if you want a good scale that tells you your exact weight this is the way to go. Here is the link to the amazon page:

hope this helps!
