Where Do You Start??

Hi I'm new to the group. I've downloaded all the diets that probably exist but have no idea which one will work. I just know that I have to do something.
I need to lose 80 lbs and I know that it's not going to happen overnight or in the next month even. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. BTW I'm in Mexico

none of those diets will work. you need to make a lifestyle change that you will be able to live with for the rest of your life! there are two things you will need plenty of before you begin and they are 1) motivation and 2) discipline. then you need to make a mealplan for yourself and start an exercise program. start drinking tons of water and stop drinking soda or whatever high calorie beverage your currently drinking. welcome to the forum! :)
 
Mexican Food....so tasty!

Hey there! I totally agree! It would be pretty hard for me to stay thin if I could eat burritos all the time! My advice is this...Stick with it! Whatever you choose to do, just stick with it! I have decided on Weight Watchers, because that is what my Doctor recommended, and I think it is something that I could make work for me in the long term. You should look online for a meeting in your area, we could do it together, I start tonight!!

Ohh I lived in Mx for a few years..and im sad to say..going out to eat and just to hang out is really fattening..lol.Im not much for tacos, but they have delicious pastries...last year they had this little pastry shop in front of the hospitalk i worked on...God it smelled so good..I would have breakfast, lunch and around 2 snacks ..all from there...of course it was always osmething sinful an dchocolate stuffed!!..but i also did loose weight when i decided to...went to a nutritionist there and lost 30 pounds...Im at it again..loosing all teh weight i put back on..so good luck...you can do it!!!!!!
