Where can I buy....?

I found one in the end....at Wal-Mart! I had previously gone down the aisle where I found them but there had not been any there at that time. It cost $1.12.

I wasn't happy with the measurements I took, but I don't fault the tape for that. :conehead:

yay glad your search finally turned out :) And I've had the same luck at Wal-mart before too with getting blown off. I tried looking for shishkabob skewers this summer and after looking down EVERY aisle in the food section I finally asked several people. I got told if they had them they'd be in housewares or the garden shop. They weren't. I know they have them but never have found the damn things there but fortunately found them at a grocery store by my house so piss on Walmart, lol. They hire greeters but can't be bothered to find employees who will actually be helpful.

Ebay :)

I tried to postthe link, but I don't have enough posts yet -- but you can go to EBay and do a search for "tape measure" and look in the sewing category and you will find them for $1 USD

I think they think they're not paid enough to care. If you're being paid, you're being paid to care.

I find it a lot easier to find things at Super Target because despite its size, it's smaller than Super Wal-Mart and it's easier to find things. Some things will be in the same place as a regular Target, like toys. They seem to put things in more intuitive places too. I love how they put the pharmacy and OTC medications right next to the grocery items. At the Super Wal-Mart they're on opposite ends of the store. :cuss:

Glad you finally found what you were looking for! Now perhaps you can help me find what I am looking for: a decent skipping rope. Not some kid's thing with plastic lame handles, but a real grownup sized jump rope for someone 5'5" tall. Not exactly gigantic. I don't even have a clue where to start my search as far as stores go??

BTW I am blessed to call Canada my home,:biggrinjester: though we do have several of the same stores as those who reside in the USA.

Thanks for any help,
ABBA

Target in the sporting goods section

Sports authority sells them-

this store

also carries them on the web site

generally if you check any sporting goods store in the area where they have the boxing stuff.. there will be jump ropes -some will be weighted some will have counters in the handle, - it's whataever your pricepoint and pleasure are
