when to exercise

Hi,, I just started an exercise program of walking and some fitness tapes. My question, is it better to exercise in the am or pm? Does it really matter?
Is walking really a good exercise? I have a baby and we go out most days in the neighborhood with the stroller.

The best time to workout is the one that suits your schedule the most. That's the one that is going to promote adherence on a long-term basis. :)

Sure, walking is a great form of exercise. Losing weight is all about energy balances. If you are taking in less calories than you are expending on a consistent basis.... the weight will come off.

There are a hundred different variations of exercise to help aid this calorie balance (Or I should say unbalance.... more energy out than in).

You have to start someplace. If that is walking.... great. Be sure to increase the intensity as time goes on. Eventually it would be wise to throw in some weight training.
