Hello! Nice forum. Lots of great people! It seems like lots of young people. Anyone here over 40? Anyway, I grew up skinny, stick skinny, embarrassingly skinny. Always ate what I wanted when I wanted it. In my 20's had kids and gained some weight. My 30's were great. I discovered weight training!! I loved it! I was toned and healthy lookinf for the first time in my life. Then I moved and fell out of the routine. I turned 40 and figured that I was supposed to be old and fat now...and then I watched desparate housewives
I decided not to settle for this and need to get back in the game. So I am 50 pounds overweight (I think?) I don't know really..I am 5'4" and weigh 182 pounds. I don't even remember my old workout or anyhting. I guess I am looking for some support and guidance as I start this process. Not good with diets would rather just eat healthy. I plan on walking to start. Considering my age, I don't want to over do it. I recently quit smoking. Worried about my heart even tho Doc says OK (about 7 months ago) Any suggestions??
