Whats wrong with my biceps?

I have been weight training for 3 years now and everything grew relatively at the same pace...Now, however, my biceps seem to have peaked out. Every other muscle is still growing, except my biceps it seems. I work them out equally as hard as the rest of my body but they don't seem to ever get bigger and are hardly sore. Whats the problem?

Have you tried increasing your weight level? Might also want to describe your bicep exercises for better information.

What's the circumference at the peak height of your biceps? If it's 12 inches, you're doing something wrong, and we'll need to look closer at your programming to figure out what (pro tip: there's no point in asking "what am I doing wrong?" without actually telling us what you're doing; we need to know what's going on before we can analyse what's going wrong). If it's 21 inches, your upper arms have probably done 95% of the growing that they'll ever do, so you won't see a huge amount of change no matter what you do.

I find biceps are the easiest muscle to overwork because they are activated in most exercises. I don't ever do more than 3 sets of curls (whatever kind) per arms day. I find that 3 sets of really high weight (something like 10-5-3) just rips my biceps to shreds. If I keep working out I feel my arms start to lose that really tight feeling and then I don't see as much gain.

In case you haven't try different types of bicep curls. Many gyms will have a few different types of preacher bars use a different one every time. I also find the preacher bench to give me the biggest swell.

Maybe you need to develop other muscles first before targeting biceps again. Your body is like a machine and can only lift as heavy as the weakest muscles will allow. Sometimes if you plateau it can be a good idea to move away from isolating that area and working on related lifts. Maybe stop all bicep isolation and start hitting pull ups and rows more
