I've been on a pretty tight schedule for the past month and a half or so. Five or six days out of the week I do 40 minutes of cardio plus 30 minutes of body weight work outs. So far I've managed to lose about eight pounds. I'm 173 lbs now and dropping.
However, my friends and I are taking a trip to Vegas Aug. 1 to Aug. 7. My physical activity will be limited to walking and sweating, and my diet will consist of restaurant food. I'm going to try to limit myself to lean meats and veggies, as much as I despise them compared to a good ol' fashioned juicy cheeseburger and fries.
Anyway, I was wondering if it's going to seriously affect my routine when I get back. Can a week of laziness destroy over two months (by the time we leave) of a fairly active lifestyle? I would hate to find myself back at 181 lbs when I get back. The pounds have just been dropping off lately and I think that would just devastate me.
