Hi all

I'm new here. Just thought I'd ask - what's the best program you've every come across for weight loss?

Thanks

Sam

I prefer not to use a program and just go at my own pace. Using this site has really kept me focused.

My belief is that whatever program or plan you choose should be all encompassing and include both exercise and nutrition.

Whilst there may be programs and plans that can help you, ultimately you need to be the one ready to do the work.

The best program is the one that works for YOU...and one that you are going to stick with. It's a lifestyle choice, not a 2 week or month long commitment. So it really depends on what your "issues" are as far as health and fitness are concerned...you have to self analyze and determine what that is, and then go from there. My food was always 'ok' but my exercise effort was ZERO. So I knew what was missing. As soon as I started focusing on exercise more, I saw the weight fall off. You have to be honest with yourself and analyze things, then decide what to focus on!

Visalus (Body By Vi) has worked for me, I have seen more results with it than anything I have ever tried before. It tastes good and its good for you.

Hello,

I am new here also. I love all the information I can get when it comes to nutrition and exercise as I am a big believer in both when it comes to weight loss and maintenance. I recently came accross a program that is working wonders for me. It is a 30 day cleanse and fat burning system. Email me if you want the information. You can definitely expect results as most people who have tried had between 5-15 pounds of toxic fat removal in less then 2 weeks! (fat cells won’t burn while storing toxins) Better sleep, more energy, building of lean muscle, clear skin, better moods- and MORE. And of course they stand by with an unconditional guarantee. No artificial colors, sweeteners or refined sugar. No gluten or casein. Pure, grass-fed whey protein with original living enzymes and probiotics. Adaptagens, minerals, lymphatic cleanse (not colon cleanse). They address yeast, bacteria, growth hormones, etc. If you give your body something it recognizes and knows how to utilize it will turn into a fat-burning machine. Fatigue goes down, energy goes up, cortisol is regulated, you SLEEP better!

I have tried some weight loss programs and some pretty strict diets before.. but by now I've given up on them. I just exercise and try to eat healthy.

What have helped me a lot is tracking my progress. This means that I write down my circumferences once a month and do some fitness tests and write down their results. Seeing myself getting better is a real motivation booster for me.

I use the software FitSmarty to track my weight, circumferences and fitness test results.. but I think using a pen and paper method is fine too. This software is just an easier and more interesting solution for me.

And I totally agree with WLWarrior above that the plans can help you, but ultimately you need to be the one ready to do the work. And you have to work HARD! No pain no gain.. (well.. no pain, no loss in our case :)

One of the best I have used is Body for Life. You get a workout plan as well as a nutrition plan. It is also easy to follow.

Hey it is a really good question if you want to try some program but first look what people say here, if you dont really put the energy even if is the best diet ever it will not work, make some research first and I found and article that it could help you (link removed) it is about things that a really healthy diet has to have to be healthy or it is just a garbage
