What's the 1st thing you did when???

Because it has happened very slowly, I didn't really have any specific thing I did except I am definitely more serious about cycling. I bought a new bike, some new bike gear, and when I got down to this weight (which I like very much and will not be losing any further) I signed myself up for a Century. I will be riding in September, and until then, will be training, so I get to eat a little more than I normally would have. Yay for ice cream!!!!

My reward is looking nice in a bikini. But beyond vanity, I am also about 20 times healthier, more fit, and more energetic than I was at the outset of this endeavor.

Not so much goal weight as goal size....went on an insane clothes shopping spree (that after many months is only now tapering off)...Through the entire weight loss process I had to run around in clothes either slightly too big, or slightly outdated (from weight loss past), or borrowed from smaller friends....buying new stuff felt like a waste of money since I knew it wouldn't fit after another month or two....it was a terrific red letter day to realize "okay, this is the size I like and plan to remain at for the rest of my life" and be able to just shop with a kind of gleeful abandon...

Set a new goal - fitness wise. I didn't go out and scoff down junk. I started concentrating a bit more on strength training, and eating more calories - but from healthy food. I guess that I entered a new phase when I stopped thinking of losing weight, but recognised that I could still do a lot to improve my fitness.
