Hey all,

I’m new to this forum and just wanted to see what methods everyone was using to drop weight. I’m still trying to lose baby weight from my previous pregnancy. Exercise is not for me either! Anyway, I hope to be able to talk to a few of you and figure out what the secret is. I have a blog where I listed some products that have really worked for me in the past. I hope everyone can take a look. The links also allow you to have a free product shipped to you. Talk to you soon.

Shed those pounds!

Most of us here read the nutrition and exercise sections and follow the advice there. We do not go in for diet plans that rake money off you. We do not take pills or potions. We do not starve ourselves having nothing but a shake because we prefer to eat healthy meals. We like our food. We adopt a healthy lifestyle which lasts for the rest of our lives. We therefore learn new habits and we maintain the weight loss when we get to where we want to be.

Most people say exactly what they are doing in their diaries. Check out the diaries section and you will see for yourself what everyone is doing and how successful we are at doing it.

Most of us thought that exercise was not for us either - but decided that in this life we sometimes do things that we do not particularly enjoy because it is the responsible thing to do. The funny thing is that if you try a number of forms of exercise - most of us find that there are kinds that we do enjoy. We certainly enjoy the results.

Anyone who is not willing to burn more calories than they take in as nutrition is not going to lose weight in any kind of effective or healthy manner.

All "diets" are marketing scams designed to take advantage of the physical insecurities of regular people that are instilled by false standards of beauty in advertisement and entertainment. These are standards that no regular person can live up to, especially if they're not willing to work for legitimate results.

Personally i'm using walker as well as i prefer to walk for almost 1 or 2 kms. I think this helps to reduce the weight. Also i'm taking less sugar in my food, i prefer chocolates made from sugar-free products. There are some chocolates tasting sweet and have no sugar calories in it. Other than these two exercise helps a lot, just don't forget to do it regularly.

I'm on a ketogenic diet.

I haven't eaten any carbohydrates in 4 months. Lost 65lbs so far. by far the easiest diet I've ever done.

The first week or so is pure hell as your body cries out for carbs, but after that, It's not even an effort. I'm eating as I like, nd the pounds are melting off. I don't buy into atkins or south beach or any of that crap I tend to eat something like:

Breakfast: Bacon and eggs

Lunch: 2 large burgers (no buns or sauce)

Dinner: 2 chicken breasts with some veg.(EDIT: NO peas, carrots,or corn. only green leafy veg, and things like broccoli/cauliflower)

snacks: Spicy/dry roasted/salted peanuts. A slice or two of cooked ham/chicken.

Drinks: water/diluting sugar free vimto/ribena etc. I did drink fizzy stuff (diet & sugar free) and still lose weight, but I got bored with the small amount available that actually didn't include aspartame. Only a couple of supermarket own brand drinks are sweetened with sucralose.

(Avoid aspartame like the plague)
