Venison stew...

1 pound deer meat
about a can of small red beans
3 potatoes
2 sticks celery
1 cup water
6 baby carrots
1 green pepper
1 onion
2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
some tabasco
1 quart diced tomatoes

Chop it all up and put it in the crock pot.

tuna burgers - absolutely great find from the freezer section of Whole Paycheck Markets, I mean Whole Foods Market... Sashimi grade tuna in the form of a burger - perfect when cooked really rare.

w/ wasabi powder mixed with sour cream.

served with bulgur wheat pilaf

That sounds just wonderful Mal!

lol RE: prices!

I cannot shop there at all..

Hubby worked so Cory and I had soup and grill cheese sammies.

Hubby works again..

Just the kiddo and me..

Gonna make up another huge batch of tuna fish fixin's..

We eat that so many ways!

I love it in pita pockets, on bread, on triscuits, etc..

I got a 9 year old cookin me Fetuccini Alfredo...

I am expecting 20 pots used, and that I'm gonna have to grill some quick brats after she is done crying that it didn't work... we'll see how it goes...

I stood back and let her do everything that she wanted to try to do by herself. In the end, the only parts I ended up helping with were pouring anything that had just come off the stove. She did a great job.

Of course, I didn't watch how much she had made, and she made about enough for one average adult. She made up plates for the three of us, but I gave them the lion's share of the food, and pretended to be full till they went to sleep, and I went and made myself a PBJ. Good kids.

Tonight, I'm gonna be grilling some chicken, and am probably gonna make up some wild rice to go with it.

That's so sweet James..

I used to make magic potions on the stove as a lil girl..{at my Nannie's house}

{Of course the burner was off} But I'd fill a pot w/water and put all kinds of spices and condiments in it and stir it around..

Nannie and PawPaw would OooO and Ahhhhhh over my potion. lol

~~~~~
Tonight's dinner...
Not sure yet.. I'm hopin' ta get to Kroger today so I can pick up stuff for the Pita Pizza's!
{Posted recipe in the pita thread.} ;)
That's so sweet James..
Enlightened self interest. I can't always count on my shoulders sealing the deal. One of her teachers is gorgeous. Don't go calling me a good guy yet... I'm a total sleazeball...
Well crap..
No Kroger today bc we don't have water..I'm not going anywhere w/o a shower.. {did 25 mins. cardio and need a shower..lol}
They are fixin' a busted pipe on property at this time.
It'll be breakfast for dindin now..{we are out of everything!}
We'll have egg beaters - scramb. & WW Pancakes.
Make some combo!!!Pour a thin circle of egg on the pan. Let it get till its almost done, then pour a layer of pancake over the top of that...
I am now hungry for breakfast again.
