Exactly as the title says.

My is "We Be Burning" by Sean Paul

Heh...I don't know why, I always get "pumped" while hearing this song. And I don't think its my subconsiousness relating to the lyrics of the songs ;).

Oh I can still sing all the words to The Devil Went Down to Georgia :)

I tell you what DOESN'T work for me...listening to Moby Dick
Just sayin'

Mine is forever changing...but right now its "U+Ur Hand" by Pink and "Girl America" by Mat Kearney...

hmmmmm some others I listen to occasionally are:

Mr. Jones
Hook
Mary Jane's Last Dance
I wont' back down.

lol...all random and old school...I know...:p

my ipod has nothing but hard hitting metal on it. slipknot, pantera, slayer, disturbed, as i lay dying, etc. i love listening to that stuff when i'm workin' it

Don't have a specific song, but like Matt I have my iPOD loaded with bands like: Foo Fighters, H.I.M., In Flames, Soilwork, NIN, Joe Satriani, Floggy Molly, etc, etc......

Depends.

If I'm road running, I like "Cuban Girls", by the Black Eyed Peas.

Trail running, I like upbeat redneckish country, like "John Deer Green" by Joe Diffy, or "indian outlaw" by Tim McGraw.

If I'm lifting, I like "The Enemy", by Godsmack.

If I'm mountain biking, I like "Soweto", by Hieroglyphics, and also "The Distance" by Cake.

Road biking, I like "Lie in our Graves" by Dave Matthews Band.

Jumping rope, I like the Quake game sountrack by the Nine Inch Nails... it's rock instrumental with the same beats over and over.

Lately, I've been really getting pumped up, when walking to Switchfoot's "We Are One Tonight" The beat is basically my walking speed and I love to listen to it on repeat...just because hahaha.

I listen to a lot of up-beat popular hip-hop (not rap though) that you hear on the radio when I workout. It is not my top favorite music at any other time, but it gets me going and puts me in a better mood when it's time to workout. It's also great dancing music and I actually use dancing as part of my weight loss plan, so it works out nicely.

Depends on the workout.

If I'm walking in the evening, I'm just as likely to have NPR's Marketplace on as I am likely to be playing The White Stripes (which also means I might be singing "I Smell A Rat"...lol)

My yoga teacher has this really energizing Indian music she sometimes plays when we're doing our Sun Salutations. I have no idea what the song is, much less what the lyrics are saying, but it's nearly perfect for doing anytype of workout.

Lately, it's been anything by the Pussycat Dolls, which is odd because I rarely listen to that type of music. But there's something about the rhythm and the mental image of the actual Pussycat Dolls that I find to be VERY motivating...

Sean Paul - Give it up to me
Sean Paul - Temperature
Avril Lavigne - Girlfriend

Anything with a good tune and fast beat.

Mama said knock you out - LL Cool J
Nookie - Limp Bizkit
Bring the Pain - Method Man
Release yo delf - Method man

and some other R&B song like Neyo, R.Kelly, Mario etc when thinking about the Honeys!!Its all about the motivation!! LOL!!

With all the music on my IPOD, I decide at the time of my workout. I don't try to match beats to workout, but go for what I can get into. Usually what most of you would consider mellow music. At least once a week I've been listening the the Jayhawks "Rainy Day Music" CD.
So that's probably the top of my list this month.
