What type of water bottle do you use when you work out?

I just bought one of those Brita filter pitchers and I'd like to pick up some reusable water bottles. Any suggestions?

Mine is usually a Ben 10 drink bottle or a Disney Princess bottle. My children kindly organize that for me. They are so helpful lol.

And when I attended a gym I was told by 6 yr old to use the Spiderman towel.

Since you are in Texas, you'll understand this. We use Ozarka Spring Water bottles with the Sports Cap. we bought a 6 pack of that water at Wally World for $2 and once we drank the water we just fill them from the pitcher. We've looked everywhere and couldn't find anything that we liked any better. We've been using the 6 we have for a couple of weeks now, and they seem to be holding up pretty well. Plus they fit in the car holders really well.

I LOVE my multi colored CamelBak water bottles :) You don't have to tip them up, you just have to suck :) The tip of it is just like the camelbak backpack mouth pieces :)

Be careful reusing plastic water bottles...over time they get small cracks and the toxins in the plastic actually get into your water....yada yada yada....read it somewhere ;)

Either a plastic water bottle that I refill or a big blue one with a large mouth, and a screw on top. I can't remember what brand it is.

I use a 1ltr (32oz) 'h2o on the go jr' bottle which i purchased from wal mart! just enough to keep me going! plus its perfect has it just about fits in the water bottle holders! :cheers2:

yeah I heard that too. now let me get my waterbottle out of the dishwasher that I have used for 3 weeks now lol

not sure of the brand but i use a bottle that has a straw in it. It's great when i'm on the eliptical machine because i don't have to tilt my head back when i drink from it. Maybe it's just me but when i do that i tend to lose balance slightly.

I am currently using a plastic 32 oz club soda bottle--- I have lost 3 expensive water bottles that never showed up in the lost and found ... and also several cheap water bottles. I have left the club soda bottle twice at the gym and both times it was returned to me... many people use cheap water bottles that say "water"... I am the only person that uses a club soda bottle.

I'm not, what's the issue?

I have done a lot of research on Bisphenol A aka BPA because I am an environmental chemistry major. BPA is found in most plastics, but actually is unimportant. Here is some info from a source:
"Bisphenol A has low acute toxicity, with an oral LD50 of 3250 mg/kg in rats, but it is an endocrine disruptor. Low doses of bisphenol A can mimic the body's own hormones, possibly causing negative health effects. There is thus concern that long term low dose exposure to bisphenol A may induce chronic toxicity in humans."
I personally threw out all of my old Nalgene bottles and switched to Sigg aluminum bottles until recently when Nalgene started making BPA free bottles.
Reusing plastic bottles is a bad idea because the more you use the bottles the more degraded they get and more likely to stream chemicals into your body.

I just use a bottled water bottle. Drink the water out of it and take the label off and keep using it until you feel the need to use a new one.
