What to eat, when?

Ok so I've asked this question a couple of times, but I never seem to get a straight answer. I'm a vegeterian (I do consume dairy and egg products)

So here is the food I normally eat.

3 egg whites+1 whole egg

Kashi Hot Cereal (maple and cinnamon)

I have protein plus bread (usually make a pb(smuckers) and banana sandwhich on it)

Pasta and a veggie patty of some kind.

Stir fry (with tofu) and brown rice.

Protein plus Special K cereal with milk and banana

Iso-pure protein shake with milk

I eat all these things everyday except I don't have stir fry and pasta+veggie patty on the same day.


Now I don't know if this is a comprehensive/healthy diet. I would really appreciate it if I could get suggestions on what to add, and what to eat when.

How many calories in total? Are you taking any vitamins, any Omega-3's, or anything close to those things? Are you training? What kind of training? How old are you? What's your weight and height? What are your goals? It is a healthy diet yes, but in order for someone to help you, you need to add all of the above as well.

3 egg whites =54 calories
Full Egg=70 calories

kashi hot cereal= 150 calories

PbBan sandwhich- 210 cals PB +2x 110/(slice of bread) +80 cals /(half a banana)=510 calories

Pasta= 200cals/pasta + ~90-110 calories/veggie patty= 310 calories

Stir fry with Tofu= 180cals/Tofu + 50 cal/stir fry sauce= 230 cals. Don't know about all the vegetables I put in.

Cereal= 140 calories/(bowl of cereal and milk)+ 80 cals/half a banana= 220

Iso pur= 220 calories

Total=1454-1534. But I don't always measure my portions so I could be off by a little.

I am ont taking any vitamins, should I be?

I am training.
Mon/Wed/Fri- Run for 30 minutes. 20 minutes elliptical 10 minutes treadmill- total about 2-2.25 miles and ~300-350 calories
Tues/Thurs/Sat- Weight lifting.
3x10 Squats (Workout A and B)
3x10 Bench Press (workout A)
3x10 Deadlift (workout A)
3x10 power cleans (workout B)
3x10 Overhead Press (workout B)
3x10 bicep Curls/Tricep pulldowns every workout

I do work out A every other workout and workout B the days in between

E.g. Tues-A Thurs-B Sat-A Tues-B etc...


I'm 20 years old

5'7 probably about 175lbs I haven't weight myself in like a month or two though.

I just want to lose weight and build muscle look good for summer like in 3 months.

I am also concerned about when I should be eating things because sometimes at night for dinner at maybe 8 I'll eat pasta and I feel like taking that many carbs in at night is probably a bad idea, but I'm not sure. So I don't know if I should move things around or eliminate things from my diet.
