Hrm, surprisingly noone has said "go to a store that actually knows their shit about running shoes and ask for help". They will, if they do indeed know their shit, put you on a treadmill, look at how your feet runs, probably take some stills to look at, look at the angle of your feet etc. and give you a range of options for shoe models that will work for you, in different price ranges.
Apologies for the thread necro I just... there is no "good for everybody" running shoe, feet are very different. Its like asking "whats the universally best size bra"...
