i wanted to know what you say to yourself when your working out that keeps you going?

the one i say to myself is
"The weight didn't come on in one day so dont give up"

i just wanted to hear others so maybe theres something that encourages

"Maybe one day you'll be able to look down and see your penis, maybe one day you'll be able to look down and see your penis, maybe one day you'll be able to look down and see your penis..."

"imagine how good you'll feel after this workout"
"think about how guilty you'll feel if you eat that!"

"Maybe one day you'll be able to look down and see your penis, maybe one day you'll be able to look down and see your penis, maybe one day you'll be able to look down and see your penis..."
Really? I want chicks to look down and see mine!

One way to get encouragement is type in how much you weight and do a google image search...
ie.... 280 lb. man.... you'll see how fat you are, and REALLY not want to eat.

If i'm not loving what i'm doing, i won't do it. That said, if i don't feel like going walking, i say, ...um... I think i don't really articulate much very clearly. I think i just switch my thoughts from let's not do it, to let's do it and then i stop thinking about how i feel, but look ahead to what i am doing. Then i also think "it's only an hour. And i also know i will feel better afterwards so that helps me.

I think its important to keep the goal at the front of your mind. Chef's seems to be able to see his penis. I don't have one of those. I just want to look my best and never feel bad about my body again.

I know everything i have failed at in the past is because i lost sight of my goal and everything i achieved is because i never forgot my goal.

When i was a smoker and i was in a situation where i was tempted. I just said to myself "no i can never have another cigarette again." And pretty soon the feeling would pass.

It always shocks me how much height makes a pretty big difference on that regard.

Lebron James is 6'8 - 240lbs. He is also considered overweight according to his BMI which always makes me lawl.

Anyways, for me I like to remind myself that all weight is really broken up into calories, (even if it isnt 100% correct ;) )

Literally every step I make when im running or walking or whatever is getting me that tinsy bit closer to that end goal. I also hate half assing my workouts, because I end up leaving the gym feeling like I wasted a lot of my time. So when im finishing my last set of curls/pushups/whatever, I just keep telling myself to "PUSH NOW", you can always rest later"

Breaking goals down into small pieces really helps. If you tell yourself, just FIFTEEN minutes, then you'll
A) be much more likely to walk
B) building a habit to do something! (I strongly believe in habit - building)
C) have gone a walk, when probably wouldn't have otherwise
D) You usually end up doing more anyway. Starting is usually the hardest part.
(this wasn't directed at you, 44, it's just general advise)
