Hey everyone.. What motivates everyone? What motivates you to want to lose the weight? What motivates you when you are at the gym, to go that extra mile or go that extra 5 minutes? What do you tell yourself to keep you going everyday.
My main motivation is my daughter. She is 6 years old. I want to be healthy so I can share my life and be active with her. I coach youth cheerleaders and I want them to look up to me, not only as a coach, but as a role model to be healthy. My boyfriend and I have been together 7 years. When we do get married, I want to be happy with the way I look.
When I am at the gym, my motivation is know that I am doing something good for me. Not only to look good, but for my health. I have high blood pressure and I am on medicine for it. I get motivated by telling myself that I am on my way to being of the medication.
When I am on the treadmill or bike... I tell myself just 5 more minutes. I tell myself that I can do it, I have already been on it for 30 minutes (for example)..what is 5 more minutes.. Then after 5 minutes comes and goes, another 5 minutes seems so easy and fast.
I hope everyone gets motivated either by what they do themselves or what another member can help them with.
