I'm a health coach and eating less is not a good idea. I started of my journey with a program that my clients are currently talking called herbalife. I lost 30 lbs in 3 months. Which was a shocker for myself. Till this day I currently use this program. Weight loss is finding a program that works with you, being consistent with it and knowing your limits. Weight loss is 20% exercise and 80% of what you fuel your body with. This program that I use works for me.

Hi reducefat!

Everybody is different so I can't really know what will work for you! I love food so for me it is very hard to keep a diet so I had to find a solution for that, but I found something that works for me you just have to try out different things!
I found my method on a blog on the internet. I don't know if I'm allowed to post links but if you want I can send it to you. Just send me a private message!
I wish you the best of luck! Don't give up!

I like weight watchers because it has a pretty good support system if you participate in the meetings. It's basically counting calories/fiber with points but it's good if you need that support and accountability from other people. My aunt and uncle both lost a lot of weight doing it so if you stick with it, it really works.

I used to do it but I'm a poor college kid and I couldn't keep up with everything. I do better with calories anyway

"I'm a wife and mother of two active girls with a busy schedule; Utilizing the community's tools and seeing others struggles helped me get through this first part of my journey." This is my proven results Vital Stats: Age 36, weight lost: 13 lbs, inches lost: 2” on waist. Interested to know how i manage to do it.
..

I've tried Duncan, Weight Watchers ...the results were good for the short term but catastrophic for the long term.
That's why I created my own way of eating by keeping the pleasure of eating without restraining myself.
I lost many kilos on the long term without forcing. I can even make some food excess and keep my weight.
It's all about food combination

I think there isn't a weight loss program that is recommandedfor every one but each person has to find what is reliable for him.

There are several questions that you can ask yourself, which will guide you towards the right weight loss program.

– What am I trying to achieve by joining a weight loss program? (Goals)

– What type of program will work with my schedule?

– Is their a certain type of program that will work best for my body type?

– What have other people tried and had success with?

– Do I have any friends that are interested in doing this with me?

– How much am I willing to spend on a program?

– How much am I willing to Risk?

– Am I interested in a Diet program? A exercise program? Both?

– What is my timeline?

– How fast am I wanting to reach my goal weight?

These questions are meant to bring out ideas and really get you thinking about what type of weight loss program will be right for you. Once you have taken time to reflect on these questions for yourself I recommend talking to a professional to further help guide you into the right program. You might be able to do this simply through a family doctor, or even your local gym club.

What I did to lose a lot of weight within the past year were:

1. Cut out pork and beef
2. Eat lots of protein (chicken, fish, protein-rich veggies like asparagus & spinach)
3. Drink lots of water.
4. Did some natural remedies. There was one in particular that worked really well for me. It was in an e-book and the title was "Drink to Shrink". I found it at the Wall of Books website.
5. I didn't force myself to exercise (because I'm really bad at sticking to a routine) but instead I incorporated physical activities into my daily life. e.g. taking the stairs instead of the elevator, walking several blocks to my house, dancing when my jam is on the radio, stuff like that. That way, I automatically got enough exercise without really realizing or strictly planning it out.

...That's all I did. In the past year, I went from 200lbs to around 140lbs (judging by my dress size). So, yeah, I'd say this is what I'd recommend to people. I thought losing weight was difficult and it was for majority of my life but really, some healthy lifestyle changes and some natural tricks and the lbs literally dropped off without much effort. Just make your health your priority and everything else will follow.
