I have a lot more energy, it feels REALLY good to exercise. And I've vowed to myself that if for some reason I never lose weight (that won't happen), that I'll never quit exercising.

I was kneeling today, and I stood up using only my leg muscles (not grabbing on to something and hauling myself up) and it didn't feel like an effort. Oh, and I go up the stairs now and I'm not winded at the top.

Oh I dunno where to begin:

Can shop without thinking 10 times if the outfit will look good on me.
Earlier I would get into the fitting room with enthusiasm and come out of it in frustration because the dress would never look good on me.

I can get into a size 4 from a size 14 my smallest size ever...I can look forward to going out and not worry about what will I wear. .....I am more confident; more outgoing...no more a person who would hide or run away from the camera...slimmer thighs....flatter abs..oh the list is endless....bottom line "Nothing tastes good as being thin/successful".

I am going to move forward o this path and reach my goal..

What keeps me motivated today...is that the last 30 lbs were fairly easy to lose; they were the extra pounds that I just put on in the last 2 years. It's the next 30 that I've had on for 15 years that I want to prove to myself that I can finely get rid of.

So my motivation? Stubbornness. :D

I must honestly say seeing other's like me do it really motivates me
fitting in a 13/14 instead of a size 22 makes me feel great not getting
out of breath when I walk up the stair's, hearing my little ones say
"mommy your looking prettier and skinnier"that really makes my day
because we all know what kids can say lol.Tammy

In no particular order:
  • I look much better, feel more confident, feel sexier.
  • Buying new clothes, especially those smaller size jeans
  • Doing things that I never thought that I would be able to do - and enjoy doing e.g. running cross-country with the husky, working out in a gym, cycling, swimming, etc.
  • The feeling of health! No more indigestion, heartburn - better skin, better muscle definition.
  • Being able to squeeze into small areas, climb over obstacles, etc - all part of my work at the power station.
  • The feeling of success - that I can take control.
  • Enjoying and appreciating food - pride in that I can moderate what or how much I eat.

Great stuff here...........
Tday i can set in the desks at the college or the school where i do groups....and not have to wedge myself in them or look for a chair somewhere........p
being smaller is so good!!! STAR

I'm going to teach my girls healthy lifestyle habits!!

this one rocks..........this is the best gift you can ever give your kids........I love that my sons love veggies and healthy stuff!!! And they think that exercise is a normal part of life and that it is fun........ and not some hidieous chore!!!! ;) STAR

What motivates me today are my clothes. My workpants that I have had forever but they were too small for me not only fit now, but they are falling off now! It feels really good to have to go buy those new pants soon. I would also like to say that I have never lost 33lbs before in my life on anyother diet, so this is huge.

1. I feel FITTER... I can powerwalk up a hill without being out of breath :|
2. Because of 1. I dont feel any different or inferior to other people
3. I can see and feel the difference in my body shape :) and like it!
4. My jeans are too big and last night I got into an old pair that were too tight before
5. My bf and family r encouraging and supporting me- the praise is nice lol
6. I feel in control -like I CAN do this and I am my own boss

Overall really I think all these things together just mean I'm feeling more healthy and attractive and confident - more GOOD about myself.

Ha, this seems kind of minor, but I can fold my arms behind my back (you know, at rest, hands holding forearms). Previously it felt very uncomfortable, now I stand like that all the time.

so today i can wash my dishes with out my belly getting all wet and soaked!!! and i can reach to put them away easier now that i am 4 inches closer to the counter!!!;) :p :D

the bus this morning was more crowded than usual - usually it's one double seat per customer and room to spare - this morning - it was make a friend day on the CTA and no one had a seat to themselves - and the seat next to me didn't go last and the person who had to sit next to me didn't roll their eyes and give me that "get your fat ass to a gym" look before sitting down...

ha that is awsome Mal............mass transit......gotta love it!!!!
fitting into normal seats is so nice!!!!

My pants started getting tight, so I bought my winter clothes in the same size so I would have no option but to fit in them. Now they're starting to fit more comfortably!

My reasons:

1. I got on the scale at the gym this morning and I'd lost 6 pounds this week!
2. I think I can sorta see where the 6 pounds came from!
3. I feel better than I did last Monday (before I started exercising and changing the way I eat).
