What is my problem

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had some advice for me.
I am a 36 year old male. I am 6'1" and 274 lbs
Here is a little history behind me.

As a child I always weighed a lot (around 200 lb but shorter)
Between the ages of 21-28 I was able to maintain a healthy 190 lb at 6'1"
My calorie intake at that time consisted of about 1000 calories a day and I worked out vigorously 2-3 hours a day.
After having children and devoting more time to them and work I just don't have the time to work out 2-3 hours a day..

Right now I average about 20 minutes a day (somedays for an hour other days not at all)
I don't eat too much.. I even downloaded an app on my phone called myfitnesspal which allows you to log your nutritional intake and physical activity.

In the past few weeks I have been very strict about logging every activity and every food.. right down to the last cucumber slice.

At first i was taking in about 1000 calories a day..
I got a warning that I was in danger of putting my body into starvation mode by eating to little and this could not only hinder my weight loss, but actually cause me to gain as well. The recommended calorie intake for my size to lose weight was 2020 calories a day with a minimum of 1200 calories.

Since I am a light eater and always on the go (I have a somewhat active work schedule).. It seemed impossible to get 2020 calories a day.. but recognizing I might need more calories I started taking in 1500 calories a day.

So the past few weeks I have been taking in no less than 1400 and no more than 2000.. but averaging 1500.

I have low fat, sugar, and sodium intake.
My complex carbs and protein are spot on for what is recommended for me.

Five weeks and no results.
Please also note..
my blood pressure is 125/74
My blood sugar runs about 100
The doctor has checked my thyroid, cholesterol, ekg.. everything
I have a 100% clean bill of health

EXCEPT my weight..

The doctor would like me to lose weight but can give me know advice how to go about doing it.
I am healthy by all doctors tests except weight and feel healthy..
but I don't feel healthy when I look in the mirror

Do I have some kind of fat gene?
Am I doomed to be heavy til the day I die?

Any advice for me?

I have heard that certain people can be allergic to certain foods but not know it. That though their bodies show no symptoms of allergies, their bodies simply do not know how to process the food and thus it is stored straight to fat.
Could this be my problem?
What is wrong????
