What in the world does "Stone" mean ?

and then there's Australia. It's zed here; colour, valour, honour, centre etc; kilos not stones & bangers or snags for sausages; footpath, not sidewalk; chemist not pharmacy;pissed is drunk, not angry;thongs, not flip-flops; bickies not cookies, soft drink, not soda.....the differences are endless really but it's all fun!

Tell me about it....I grew up with kilos, then had to learn about stone, and on the board I need to convert it into lbs as well. And to make it worse, we've got pounds and kilos in Germany, but a German pound is not the same weight as a the American lbs....:banghead: *lol*

I love the German pound confusion. That must have been difficult....
