what if ur sick. Please Help

I have this sickness thats like a virus that last a long time. Its like cold but last much longer than a cold. So my question is the best diet during the time ur sick. Plus I cant do much exercise cuz u need relaxation. So what should I do? Please help
 
Talk with your doctor. What does she recommend you do? I'd follow those instructions over anything else :)

I'd assume you can do low intensity work - like walking or lifting lighter weights without problem.

I'd also assume you can eat veggies/fruits and lean meats. I don't know that you'd have to change your eating in any way (so long as you eat healthy to start with).

You may need to eat less if you're doing less activity.
 
I tend to stick with the old starve a fever, feed a cold saying. And avoid dairy if I have any sort of problems involving phlegm, since that helps to thin it out.

But that's just what works for me. Sorry I can't give more advice than that.
 
do you have Mononucleosis? a.k.a. "Mono"?

if so, that's a rough one, and no, I wouldn't workout. if you're having to see a doctor, give Doc a call and ask their medical opinon. if its that serious though, I doubt you should be exerting yourself. just eat correctly and get rest.

Well if you have a virus that's contagious, you want to stay away from the gym. No sense in spreading it around. But if you talked to your doctor and he says you can do soft routines like pilates or yoga, go for it.

As far as dieting, if your sick go with you're doctor's advice. Right now may not be a good time to cut back on certain foods that could provide the necessary nutrients your body needs to fight off the infection.

Stay true to your current diet and use the time off as a time for your body to get a break.

Not like you're going to gain a bunch of weight! If anything you'll lose it from being sick.
