Hi my name is Kate im dying to start eating alot healthier than i have. Im 21yrs old im 5'4" 144lbs. I am also 25wks pregnant so i cant lose weight at the moment. But i finally went to the store and bought some healthy food and made a little meal plan. Everything is measured in portion size. I also plan on walking on my treadmil for an hour a day. Since i know i cant do too much crazy workouts. What do you think? Im not starving myself or anything nuts all my meals are just healthier choices instead of the mcdonalds or taco bell crap that i crave lol. Oh yea i also take a flinstone vitiman everyday since prenatals make me sick and my doctor said it was ok. Also forgot to add ill be drinking water throughout the day inbetween meals as i am supposed to drink lots of water a day do to being pregnant.

Breakfast
1 Columbo Yogurt
2 Slices Raisin Toast
1 Egg White
1 Slice Fat Free Cheese
1 Cup Water

Morning Snack
1/4 Cup Trail Mix
1 Cup Water

Calories: 150

Lunch
1 Whole Wheat Tortilia
1 Grilled Chicken Breast
Lettuce, Tomatos, Mustard, Salt & Pepper
14 Baby Carrots
1 Cup Fruit Cocktail
1 Cup Water

Calories: 369

Afternoon Snack
2 Celery Sticks
1 Cup Water

Calories: 20

Dinner
1 Grilled Chicken Breast
1/4 Cup Brown Rice
1/4 Cup Corn
1 Cup Water

Calories: 335

Evening Snack
1Tbs Cream Cheese
2 Celery Sticks
1 Cup Milk

Calories: 250

Total Daily Calorie Intake: 1,374

I dont think you're eating enough.

From my understanding a woman should be taking in her daily amount of calories, plus an extra 300 for the baby. Healthy, nutrient rich foods are important for the development of your baby. Exercise has been shown to promote development of the baby as well.

You're gonna gain some weight, theres no way around it. But if you eat smart and exercise, you can keep it to a natural amount. Fish/fish oil/flax/flax oil are great for their Omega-3, which is pretty much useful for everything.
 
Thanks for the reply. Should i just add a fish oil pill or something in my diet? I know im gunna gain weight my starting weight was 132lbs. So ive already gained 12lbs.
