What do you think are the most misunderstood aspects of weight loss?

The role the mind plays in it all, for most.

In addition, the power of consistency.

That it is looked upon as a temporary thing and not as a lifestyle change.

Go 'on a diet' to lose the weight, then go back to your old habits... weight will come back.

If don't eat anything then you can loose weight is the most misunderstood aspects of weight loss as per my thinking

The misconception that it's easy, and shouldn't be any trouble for someone who is overweight with a long history of bad habits.

It's a misconception that I find is often made by someone who doesn't, and admittedly has never, struggled with a weight issue.
