What do you do?

Hey!

I see a lot of people asking how much to do and asking for routines so I thought I (and anyone else who would like to) can post what my routine is. Anyone can comment or give suggestions - we are all here to help.

I alternate between taebo, elliptical, and aerobics.
So yesterday I did 70 mins taebo (billy blanks makes you work!!) so that was 710 calories burned. I love that its such a fun workout and burns so many calories. Then I did 15 mins of a pilates core workout - another 77 calories burned!!

Im so glad I did that because I can feel what I did yesterday in my arms, my shoulders, my legs and the abs.

Today, Im doing my Women's Health Total Body Summer Workout. Got it in the mag. It's really good as well as it has a cardio session (25 mins) a strength session (25 mins) a abs & core session (15 mins) and a yoga session (15 mins). Oh, and a warm-up for 5 mins. So should I do the whole thing it would be 85 mins. But I never do the yoga so I usually do 70 mins of that.

Then the elliptical. The most difficult of all! I always get so tired doing it, but I hear it's super good in burning the fat! Mine came with a dvd, so I usually follow the dvd and its hiit. The dvd is an hour long, but according to the timer on the elliptical, I always manage to do 40 mins coz Im always resting. But I want to persevere coz then will be able to do the full 60 mins!

Wow, that's a lot! I hope to get to something like that sooner rather than later!

I have the Billy Blanks DVD. I bought it 3 years ago and never even opened it. :-( Glad to hear (again) that it's a good one. I got the Taebo and the Abs workout...I fear the PAIN I'll be in after doing it!

Right now all I do is walk a couple of hours a day. Once in the morning for about 45 minutes, focused, going for heart rate, and once in the evening, about 75 minutes by getting off the train sooner on the way home from work, then walking home from there. Not so intense but exercise nonetheless.

My first goal is to jog for 45minutes non-stop.
