Hi there,
Just after some advice on my current routine.
I'm 29 years old and I'm 65kg and want to get down to 60kg, which would be my ideal weight. I would say that I'm already fairly toned, but not as much as I'd like. I am not overweight, but just would like to lose another 5kg.
At the moment I'm going to the gym 3 days a week. I do 5 minutes warm up on the treadmill, then the weights circuit which is a full body workout and includes vibration machines. I then do 3 lots of 10 minutes on various cardio machines. Is this enough exercise?
My diet is pretty good lots of fruit and vegies and no junk. I have started to try and keep my calories to 1500 per day so I can lose these stubborn last 5kg. I have healthy cereal for breakfast, banana and diet yoghurt for morning tea, sandwich such as ham, cheese and tomato or tuna for lunch, more fruit and yoghurt for afternoon tea. And for dinner I eat whatever I cook for the family, but only have a small portion and lots of vegies.
I have just bought a protein powder stuff to mix with milk to increase the protein in my diet. Do you guys recommend this? A serving with a glass of light milk consists of 260 calories and 22.8 grams of protein. I've been having it when I get home from the gym in the morning. And sometimes before dinner so it fills me up a bit so I'm not tempted to eat too much of whatever I cook. It seems to keep me full.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks,
Christie
