Thanks for the feedback. I think that because I've been so overweight for so many years, I've lost perspective on sizes... I go into a store and look at a 10 and it looks absolutely tiny, but I know I used to wear it. In my mind, I'd love to wear a size 8 or 10, but think that at my goal weight I might be around a 12 or so.
Right now I'm an 18 in pants, and a 2x (approaching 1x) in tops. But I also know that my 3x tops were tighter than they should have been... I just refused to buy a larger size. So after losing 26 pounds, I've lost about 1 1/2 sizes in my tops, and about a size in pants (my 18s are falling off... well, not literally!!). If I use that as a guide, that would put me in... um... oh... size 10 pants... and 12ish tops. So I'll say 12, and get something in that size to use as my goal size. I just want to be realistic, I guess, but challenge myself enough as well.
Actually, with all the clothes that I've hung on to "in case" I lost weight, I'm sure I can find something in a 12 to use for motivation... although a new suit would certainly be more of a motivator than something I already have. Dunno.
Sorry for the rambling... just thinking on-line!!
