hi bglitter, I had a baby 4.5 months ago naturally. I've noticed that my stomach is still kind of floppy. I wonder if it will ever go away. Too bad I'mm too much of a scaredy cat to have a tummy tuck, lol :p

Hi Heidi! It is always nice to see someone who is about the same! We both have the same goals here! I am 5'6 and bounce around 134-137 and want to weigh 120 again!! What have you been doing to lose the weight and what is motivating you?

At the begining of '06 I weighed 170. When I became pregant 10 years ago, I went from 105# to 175#s during the pregnancy and have jumped around between 170 and 145 for the past 10 years. But I am ready to get rid of that jiggle.

I did loose 20 pounds doing Adkins this past spring. But let me tell you, it made me sooooo sick. Then I went off of it and started to gain back. Now, I just monitor my calories by staying under 1200 calories per day, no soda, and have the majority of my foods be good for you food. I have also been walking atleast 2 miles a day, and doing a pilates tape. But now it very cold this week I havent been walking. It is going to warm up in the next few days so I will be back out there.

This forum and wanting to look good for me is motivating me!!

What are you doing???!!!!!:D

I'm 5'8", roughly 192 lbs, and wear a tight size 12, loose size 14....there really isn't a good size that fits me right now.

Newmommy- you are in my other group too! I am so getting a tummy tuck when I can afford it!! I have already had a c-section and another surgery to remove an ovarian tumor as well so I'm used to having my stomach dug into!! Did you lose a couple more lbs? GOOD JOB!!

Im a female at 5'3" // 160m

Down from 250 pounds // 113 kg to 195 pounds // 88 kg and my goal is 117 pounds // 53kg

I was a size 22 and now im going into a size 16 jeans very soon! I am a size 14 dress. I went from a 40 DDD bra to a 36 DD ( Im naturally big chested so they are not going anywhere im afraid lol )

Hi! At the begining I weighed 221 lbs (size 22)) and now I'm 194 lbs (size 18-17)) I still have yet to weigh myself for the past two weeks though because at the moment I'm in North Carolina. I'll have a new weight on Tuesday. I just hope to have lost something..or it will be three weeks with no loss..

bglittert, yeah I did lose a few more lbs :) Seems like they're just falling off! I had gallbladder surgery and had a bynch of complications (pulmonary embolism, bile duct leak resulting in 3 more surgeries, and infection in the incision) so I'm to have more surgery! I'll probably eventually get over the fear and have one done though after i've had all my babies. :p

Hey everyoneI posted some before and between pictures of me in the before after and in between thread. Take a look :)

clothing sizes

I know this is a hard question to answer, and there's no concrete calculation or table, but I'm trying to guess at what my clothing size will be when I reach my goal weight. I'm 5'8" (173 cms) tall, and my goal weight is 160 pounds (73 kgs). I know that body shape has a lot to do with it, but can anyone guess the ballpark of my goal size?? I'd like to pick up a piece of clothing or a suit to use as motivation, but don't want to over-shoot or under-shoot it by too much.
Any thoughts??

When I was doing Weight Watchers they said that for every 15 pounds you lost, you go down a pant size. So if you've got 30 pounds to loose, take 2 sizes off what you're wearing now.

I hope that's right.

That is not true. It would be hard to say the size you would be as you said it. I was 185 pounds and size 14-16 (US) and now I wear a size 4 I went down 10 sizs with a loss of 45 pounds. Sometimes your body tends to loose a lot of inches; For now you should buy something you would want to fit into and use that as a motivation.

Could be the difference in where your weight is, I guess. I'm glad I'm wrong! I'd like to think that after 62 pounds I'd be down more than 4 sizes! Maybe they just told us that as a general rule of thumb? I don't know.

I've heard that elsewhere and while it might be true for some - I know it's not true in my case. I've lost just over 100 lbs - so theoretically that means I should be down 6 sizes...

I started at a 30/32 - that was fitting comfortably - it took at least 60 lbs for me to get into a size 28 jean - now I'm in a 22/24 - depending on the designer. In blouses I was also a size 30/32 - now size 24s if it's a knit top fit, if it's a button blouse then I'm a 26 -

I'm sort of hoping when I reach my goal of 155 (I'm 5'9) I expect to be in a size 12ish - though I have really broad shoulders so I'm not sure how much I'll lose in top size.
