WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO when you reach your goal?

I plan on taking Ballroom dance lessons
don't wait -take them now.. they're a lot of fun...

DWTS?? Dont wait Tango salsa?? :D Salsa is more fun than anything :) but you're husband needs to go with you - tell him to man up - dancing is sexy and men who can lead ont he dance floor improve their skills in other places dramatically :D
 
What is the first thing you're going to to?

Go shopping. I'm attempting to save up, so I can go to an actual store and buy cute clothes. I'm going to walk into one of those 'young' stores without thinking that the salesgirls are wondering why I wandered into the wrong store.

What's the second thing??

Get some action. :rofl:
 
Been awhile.

When I get to my goal (crimeney I was 2 lbs away from my revised goal!):

1. Get those artsy fartsy hot black and white pictures taken! Never did, while I had the chance!
2. Do a better job at trying to maintain, not screw it all up and regain almost everything in a summer's time.

That's pretty much it!
 
1. Go shopping and feel like I belong...
2. Feel the freedom of picking anything up and knowing it will fit me.
3. Call the ex for a friendly chat and arrange to catch up;)
4. Jog everyday
5. Wear a bikini every minute of the day
 
I'm definitely buying more tank tops, short skirts, and skinny jeans to show it off! And my first bikini of my adult life. I'm way excited to lose the belly and be able to wear one. My plan is to maintain at 150 for awhile, and then see if I want to lose more or not. Then when I'm sure I'm at a good weight, I'll maintain for awhile and then get my belly button pierced and a belly tattoo to remind myself not to gain it back. Wouldn't want to stretch out the tattoo! I'll definitely post full body shots on my myspace and facebook, as well as before and afters to brag :)
 
maybe get knocked up. people seem to think i'm crazy for working so hard to lose weight and get in shape before i get pregnant. i don't see why. who wants to gain pregnancy weight on top of being obese? and then try to get through 9 months of pregnancy while being completely unfit? it doesnt sound like a good time to me.

I did this - I got pregnant at 225 pounds and swelled to 275. I had a litany of problems during my pregnancy, including suspected gestational diabeses, preeclampsia and increased protein in my urine. I was put in the ER on three occassions, hospitalized once and induced at 37 weeks. It was not a fun time...get the weight off and then get pregnant :)

I will have many photos taken and then do a good job arranging before and afters. I want to put together some sort of YOU CAN DO IT programme to encourage others in my beautiful city to also get healthy!

I will shop like I have never shopped before. We have a specialty bra shop in town where you can "get fitted" properly and then spend over $100 on a bra! Probably all of the bras I have ever owned do not equal that much money, but once I am at my goal weight, I am going to spend the money and buy at least one sexy, perfectly fitting bra! Ooh la la, how I love to live it up! hee hee

I will do something shocking and out of character BECAUSE I AM ALIVE and it is my turn, dangnabit!

At ten pounds:
I'm going to buy an athletic swimsuit and start swimming again. I plan to do a fair amount of swimming as part of my maintenance cardio.

At fifteen pounds:
I'm going to take some great photos of myself for my husband. I've got a small amount of experience in photography (far from pro, but have gotten some of my stuff into juried exhibitions), and am writing down ideas for how I want to do them. Last summer on vacation my husband and I had an argument because I refused to have my picture taken and up until that point I had no idea how much it bothered him to have so few pictures of me.

Buy a pair of designer jeans, a bikini and some hot lingerie.

If money were no object I'd go back to Paris and NYC and enjoy walking around those cities again without feeling 15lbs overweight.
 
This is like the best thread ever!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone has such great ideas. When I reach goal:

1. Buy a white dress. I love white. But every time I wear it I look like Shamu...and while wearing said white dress, go around burning every picture of myself when I was fat.

2. Get dressed in a skimpy dress and heels and go out to a bar in my home town, where everyone I know goes.

3. Go dancing with my skinny girlfriends, so I can finally NOT feel like the designated fat friend.

4. Learn to surf. And sail. And horseback ride. And zipline.

5. Take a trip to somewhere exotic where there are beaches SO I can wear THIS:

...I think I may also eat a cheeseburger, LOL

I've been at my goal for a few months now and all I've done is buy some new clothes. That wasn't really a big deal since I was buying clothes all along while losing fat. Reaching my goal meant maintaining that goal so life pretty much goes on as it did when I was trying to lose fat, I still count calories and workout. One thing changed, I don't fear food and some days I live on the edge and order something I usually wouldn't eat while out at a restaurant. Never have I gained any weight back. Other than that life after reaching my goal is the same as before, I just look better now.
 
I was thinking that I might just go somewhere by myself for a few weeks. Anywhere out of state or out of the country. Just to relax with myself and my new body.
 
I am pretty darn close to goal... My goal wasn't a particular weight, but a size. I wanted to be able to buy a bra from a regular store (cuz I have little boobs and a large rib cage) I finally got to where I can fit into a 36 or 38 bra again. I also fit into a size 10 in some brands. I spent $250 on new clothes a couple of weeks ago and I should have done it sooner. I spent too much time feeling ugly when a new outfit or two on the way would have made me feel so much prettier than I did.

When i reached my goal in February I had just broken up with my boyfriend, so I actually didn't feel like doing my reward - huge shopping spree! However two weeks before I went on a holiday and spent A LOT of money so I suppose that was my reward.

I should take everything back though, as I am now 3kg heavier :(

I am ONLY going to get my reward when I have maintained for 2 months! And when I get to my UGW I am going to book Thailand holiday!
 
I am seriously going to cry. Then call my husband and parents. Possibly jump up and down like a madwoman. Then go shopping. Well, I'll probably never stop shopping. ;)
 
I'm going to go shopping for a new pair of expensive/designer jeans, buy a new bikini and get some photos taken of me in the bikini, buy some short shorts, take my pic for the forum here, take my husband somewhere romantic for the night....I can't wait!!!!
 
Now that I am at my goal weight I keep doing the same thing it took me to get here.. I am 125 lbs less and I run lift weights and exercise 5 days a week. I am able to play hockey for hours among hours a day its incredible. Just the feeling to not be fatigued is amazing.
 
Wow! What a cool topic! Here is what I will definitely be doing!

- Go into a store and go right to the normal size section, and fit normal sizes without having to go to the plus section and feel bad about myself lol.
- Post my story everywhere and some pictures and hopefully inspire some people!
- Swim!
- Cocoa butter the CRAP out of my humungous stretch marks
- Wear shorts again
- Walk normally instead of all hunched over with my arms crossed
- Yes! Glamour shots! ( I cannot photograph myself to save my life! )
- Wear my favorite summer fun clothes like spaghetti tops, shorts, swimsuits (Still 1 piece for me--Never did like the 2 piecers!)
- Play with my little brother way more!

Things I HOPE to do:

- Get a whole new wardrobe
- Travel the world one city at a time... Tokyo, London, Egypt, Paris, Helsinki, Rome, Tuscany, Amsterdam, Berlin, Iceland, CYPRUS, Achorage, Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, And pretty much every Far Eastern and European country!
- Meet my musical heroes, David Sylvian, Steven Jansen, Mick Karn, Richard Barbieri (Done that!), Mark Hollis, Etc Etc
- Get a ton of excersize equipment to keep my new figure!

Anyway, my boyfriend has told me that when I get to my goal I get $1000 as a gift from him to spend on clothes! :sifone:

I will wear a bikini and not feel like a beached whale at my neighborhood pool next to all the teeny girls.

I will tell my so called friend "Told you so!". She claimed that being 125 was just unnatural and impossible.

I will get sexy pictures taken for my boyfriend.
