WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO when you reach your goal?

SHOP, SHOP, SHOP without having to look for an XL (which are usually all gone anyways)

I seriously have a shopping fund dedicated for that one day I finaly meet my weightloss. :p

Lets see... I will:

1) Get a tummy tuck(if I still need it) I am saving already.
2)Stroll right past the Plus-Sized clothing department and shop for SKINNY CLOTHES!!
3)Stop avoiding hometown community events because I don't want people to see how big I got after highschool.
4)Revel in the compliments.
5)Have my wedding ring resized to fit my teeny fingers:)
6)Look in a mirror without making the ***ICK*** face.
7)See my shady place without having to use a mirror!!! Wooo-Hoooo!

I am sure there are so many more. :)

I have thought about this alot. I'm not planning on being at my goal weight for another year now, but once i'm there I want to seriously start weight lifting to get sculputered defined areas. I am a woman so I obviously don't want to bulk up, but i think it would be healthy to have more goals set for after I lose it all and continue good healthy workout routines.

YAY Everyone!

So glad that everyone has shared their goal-funtimes!

Here's a little update on my stuff I want to do:

*Start a new thread, "Fit for Life," or something to that effect, where I'll try to help others à la Steve--but obvisouly not as educated or cool ;)

*Maybe consider actually going to school to be a personal trainer. A lot of people have asked me tips in real life!

I wish you all the best! :D

This is a great thread. Most of my choice plans have been mentioned, but I wanna post 'my' goals anyway. What I miss most about being this is shopping. There was always something in a 3/5 I could find that looked great. My body won't make any double digit item look appealing.

1) get my belly button pierced again. Getting a little old for it, but I loved it and won't really be seen.
2) girls night out and do whatever. I miss dancing, miss dancing and looking hot while doing it.
3) shopping! This might be hard though. Before my 5th child I had to shop juniors 3/5, they were too big, my hips are too wide to be smaller (I blame that on the twins). Misses/ladies etc was all to big.
4) Finally get that video made that someone has been asking for for years.
5) tattoo eventually
6) Not feeling self conscious about what I am wearing, not being the fat mom
7) actually participating in life again. I have given up my social life, too much hassle with the clothes and not looking fat
8) pulling out all of my lingerie and buying more. I miss everything being pretty and matching, I miss thong undies, I miss having raunchy stuff on under my scrubs and calling home to let the man know;)
9) actually just feeling like myself again, confident
10) reaching new fitness goals, I want that muscle definition

When I reach my over all goal weight i am going to buy a ticket to the states and go shopping for about 2k

Unforhetunately i cant do the bikini think because my pregnancies were not nice to me in the stretch mark department but hopefully with time they will fade-but i wore bikinis all my life so its not really an issue.

I am going to maintain my weight and try to tone my body.

I will religiously get my hair nail and toes done!!!

I will buy a cute jeans skirt from abercrombie and a nice fitted top and push my son around in his stroller to show you can be cute, trendy and a little sexy after you have children.

Hopefully my weight loss will really motivate my husband to loose some weight as well!

Clothes mainly haha. Cute dresses, skirts, white jeans :D Who cares if its not in fashion or its winter lol.

Some people thing when they lose thier weight, all their troubles will fade, and life will be beautiful all the time. its like comng into money- one aspect of your life may be taken care of (such as affording to pay bills), but worry and concern will be focused on something else- like work, relationships, etc....

BUT when I lose weight, there are somethings I want to do-that I cant do now- All my brothers and my father have run the Boston marathon- I would like to be able to do that...

I want to go on a major shopping spree! In particular, I'm out of the underwear I've always wanted to wear, but have never been small enough for.

Other than that, I'm hoping that most of my other goals will have been met by the time I get to my goal weight... confidence, energy, swimming, etc.

Lol to man thong!

WHEN I reach 125lbs I will:

1) Run around screaming and jumping up and down!
2) Come straight onto this forum and celebrate, and A hugh 'how will I ever thank you' to every one who supported me.
3) Examine myself naked in the mirror from every possible angle.
4) Go shopping for little floaty summer dresses.
5) I want 5 to be, come up with another goal. Ideally involving training. Eg lower body fat, and progress to heavier weights and faster runs. BUT shortly after I am hoping to reach my goal weight, I am leaving going travelling around the world for a year! So proper training etc will have to wait til get back, although I intend to stay nice and active!

What is the first thing you're going to to?
Shop until I drop. I will buy tight jeans, tank tops, cleavage shirts and oh yes, a bikini!!

What's the second thing??
I will go to the beach and proudly show off my new hot body (or if it's winter, the local pool)

What are your plans?
Exercise and eat healthy for the rest of my life avoid my prediabetes turning into full blown diabetes, and to avoid having a heart attack or stroke and to look very hot while doing it.

I want to be the 'hot' mom people talk about.

I'm going to buy shorts and skirts and bathing suits!!! Then I'm going to buy gogo boots and some cocktail dresses and go to some nightclubs!

I'll just be excited to show off some leg for once!

1) Get a tattoo to commemorate how I've changed my life.

2) Buy an awesome new bellydance costume and contemplate turning professional.

3) Wear shorts for the first time in probably 10 years!

Do you bellydance? I took classes for a year and I LOVED it! I'm thinking of taking choreography classes for it this summer too!

I've been bellydancing for about 5 years now and I LOVE it! It's great exercise, but I think it's also really empowering in terms of loving your womanly curves and all that. I started dancing with a semi-professional company a few months ago and I'm thinking about turning professional soon (like actually getting paid for performing!), but that's going to be a decision for once I lose weight. It's a harsh, but true reality that I've got a little too much jiggle in my bedlah costume ;)
