What about coffee?

The only thing I drink is water and coffee. I managed to eliminate all other drinks from my diet.
I was just wondering tho if drinking coffee helps or hinders weight loss in any significant way... does anyone have any information on that?
 
the caffeine in coffee does assist in metabolising fat, but to get the effect you need to consume a LOT. the drawback for most in having coffee is the added calories of milk and sugar added if you don't have it straight black.

I do drink it straight black. I wouldn't have it any other way!
I drink about 3 or 4 cups a day.
 
most weight-loss supplements are loaded with caffiene, and that is what helps with the weight-loss. I would say black coffee, 3-4 cups a day will definitely help your weight loss.
 
I was always told that the caffeine in coffee is an appetite suppressant. Coffee also has the added benefit of...you know...getting things going...tmi alert
